The French Program at Carroll

The French Program is committed to a humanizing language education. Students are immersed in the language to ensure proficiency and practicality in speaking, reading, and writing.
Carroll's French classes carry less than 20 students per session, providing an opportunity for total immersion in the languages. French students at Carroll will explore the geography, literature, and cultural history of nations associated with the french language; develop an understanding of linguistic foundations; and achieve conversational and technical fluency.

Phi Sigma Iota

The first chapter of Phi Sigma Iota to be chartered in Montana, Carroll's Gamma Rho chapter, is proud to recognize its charter members. Phi Sigma Iota, an international honor society, has as its ideals and purpose "the recognition of outstanding ability and attainments in the study and teaching of foreign languages, the stimulation of advanced pursuits and individual research in this discipline, and the promotion of cultural enrichment and a sentiment of international amity derived from the knowledge and use of a foreign language."
