Public Administration

Public Administration is a multidisciplinary major that prepares you for careers in local, state, or federal government as well as not-for-profit entities.  The Public Administration major at Carroll College is a joint effort between the Business, Accounting and Economics Department and the Political Science Department. With a liberal arts background from Carroll College and the relevant courses in business and political science, you will be qualified for an administrative career.  In addition, you will be prepared to pursue graduate work in public administration.  Carroll College’s location in Helena (the capital of Montana) provides students with unique opportunities to witness various governmental issues, pursue internship positions, and network with professionals. At Carroll College, learning occurs in a supportive environment of small classes with qualified and experienced faculty.

The Department of Business, Accounting, and Economics also offers majors in Accounting and Business Administration with concentrations in management, marketing, finance, economics, and international business. You may combine any of these majors or add minors from the Department of Business, Accounting, and Economics or add minors from other departments to individualize your education.
