LEWISTON, Idaho - Andy Garland and Chase Godecke both finished with double-doubles as the Carroll College men snapped a three-game skid with a 82-70 road win over Lewis-Clark State on Saturday night.
The Saints (9-10, 2-3 Frontier Conference) hit 9-of-20 3-pointers - just short of their NAIA leading 9.5 treys per game - but the big advantage came inside from their sophomore posts.
Garland finished with a team-high 20 points while Godecke had 11 and provided some key blocks to help the Saints pull away.
Freshman guard Ben Cutler, meanwhile, had a breakout game with 19 points on 4-for-7 shooting from behind the arc while senior forward Chris Medina added 12 points.

Nathan Lebsock scored the final two points in regulation to tie up the game and put in the final four points to lift the Blue Hawks (6-8) to the win.
