A: Federal Work Study is student employment that is part of a total financial aid award based upon financial need.
Q: How can I find a work study job?
A: Carroll College has a wide variety of student positions. Positions are available with nearly every academic and administrative department on campus. A number of off-campus positions with various community service organizations are also available to work study eligible students. Q: Will I receive credit on my billing statement for work study?
A: Work study is not credited on a student's billing statement. Students who participate in Federal Work Study receive a paycheck on the 10th of each month.
Q: How much does work study pay?
A: All work study jobs pay minimum wage. Minimum wage increased to $6.25/hr January 1, 2008 and will increase to $6.55 July 24, 2008.
