Carroll College is honored to be a Yellow Ribbon Institution!
What is the Yellow Ribbon Program?
The Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program (Yellow Ribbon Program) is a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. The Post-9/11 GI Bill will pay your tuition based upon the highest in-state tuition charged by an educational institution in Montana ($205.40 per credit). Under the Yellow Ribbon agreement, Carroll will then contribute up to 50% of the remaining tuition expenses, and the Department of Veterans Affairs will match that amount. This means your entire tuition will be paid for at Carroll! The Department of Veterans Affairs will also pay you a monthly housing allowance of $945 a month, up to $1000 stipend for books & supplies, and up to $1,414.45 per semester for fees.
Detailed information about the Yellow Ribbon Program can be found at http://www.gibill.va.gov/GI_Bill_Info/CH33/Yellow_Ribbon.htm.
