michael staley
Michael, a 2006 Carroll graduate, is the assistant director of admission. He majored in Political Science and Sociology, was a Student Ambassador, and was the director of the Liturgical Choir on campus for three years.
A native Montanan (from Dillon), Michael enjoys running, spending time with his dog, Blaze, skiing, backpacking, fishing, reading, singing in the Cathedral Choir, good conversation, and meeting new people.
Looking back on his four years as a student at Carroll, Michael remembers exciting debates in the classroom, many hours of thesis research and writing during his senior year, laughing really hard about stupid things in the cafeteria with friends from across the hall, and spending quality time with friends.
Visiting college campuses is Michael's best advise when searching for colleges:"When I visited Carroll, it was number five or six on my list of colleges. After the day on campus, Carroll felt like an old shoe--it was comfortable and I could tell that I belonged here."
Michael travels to Eastern Washington, Southwest Montana, and Utah, works with the Carroll Intervention Team (CIT), is the faculty liaison, ROTC liaison, and conducts outreach efforts with Parishes throughout Montana.
