ty eisbach
My name is Ty Eisbach and I'm the part of the Admission Office that isn't actually located on the Carroll College campus. As the Associate Director of Admission, I moved to Oregon in 2002 where I currently live and work. Although I make frequent visits to campus, I spend the bulk of my time here, where I work in a satellite capacity to meet the needs of students from the Northwest who are contemplating attending Carroll.
As a former Carroll student, I earned my degree in Sociology while minoring in Psychology and taking plenty of Business classes. While on campus, I was active in the Ambassador program so staying at the Admission Office after I graduated seemed like a natural step. I had such a great experience at Carroll that making that experience possible for new and current students became, and still is, very important to me.
My job gives me the great experience of working with students in Western Washington, Oregon and California. I also work with alumni in these areas to involve them in the recruitment of students in their area. I think it is important for prospective students to meet alumni who work in their fields of interest so they can can really get a feel for that specific career path. Alumni, also, can offer insight about Carroll that prospective students cannot read about in our literature----in my mind this is invaluable.
On a different note, whether I'm out and about or entertaining at home, I enjoy surrounding myself with my close friends; these are the types of friends you'll make at Carroll. If you like sports, I'm always game to chat about the latest action --- I am a huge sports fan! In addition to sports and socializing, I'm always up for traveling; whether it be over to Seattle for the weekend or further. Traveling to Carroll, however, is one of my most treasured trips.
