Carroll College Career Services empowers individuals to follow passion, realize potential, and pursue lives of purpose.
"Not for School, But For Life."
Students who need some assistance in processing career decisions can take a one credit Career Development course that begins the week following Fall break (first class, Tuesday, October 13 from 3:45- 5:20pm). This course will take you through a process of self-discovery and includes a variety of career-related inventories and activities designed to assist you in addressing your career-related interests, skills, and work values as well as how your strengths and preferences fit into the world of work in the 21st century. This course is appropriate for freshmen and sophomore students who do not have a major, those who are learning that their declared major may not be the best fit, and for students who have majors they like but do not know how to make the connection between their academic major and a satisfying career. Students may take the class P/F or for a grade. To register, go to the Registrar's office and ask for LAS 185.
