2008-09 Student Handbooks Have Arrived!

The 2008-09 Carroll College Student Handbooks consists of a dayplanner with campus events, college policies, judicial procedures, emergency procedures and important phone numbers. Students living in campus housing will receive their copy from their CA. Students living off campus will be able to pick up a copy in the Student Life Office in 208 O'Connell Hall. Faculty and staff will each receive a copy in campus mail.  Please pick your copy up so we can save on having to mail them.  Thanks!!

Freshmen Class Retreat

The Freshmen Class Retreat will be held this weekend, September 5th-7th at Legendary Lodge on Salmon Lake. This annual event is a great opportunity for first-year students to connect and to celebrate the blessings of a beautiful fall weekend. For more information, contact Colleen Dunne at Ph. 4333, Fr. Mass of the Holy Spirit Scheduled for Sept. 14th

The Mass of the Holy Spirit, to celebrate the new academic year, has been scheduled for Sunday, September 14th at 7pm at the Cathedral of St. Helena. Bishop George Leo Thomas, Carroll alum and bishop of the Diocese of Helena, will celebrate the Eucharist with Carroll faculty, staff and students. Faculty and staff will march in cap and gown. Dress for students is casual.

Sophomore Class Retreat

The Sophomore Class Retreat will be held on September 19th-21st at Legendary Lodge on Salmon Lake. Sign-up in Campus Ministry to attend. Career Services and Testing is located on 1st East Borromeo Hall to help you find a major, explore career options, research internship opportunities or develop a life plan. You can explore the Career Resource Library without an appointment. Stop by between classes to see what resources are available.

Sunday Night Mass at 8pm

Remember that our weekly Sunday Night Mass in the Campus Center Main Lounge is offered at 8pm. Carroll students, staff and faculty of all faith traditions are welcome to attend.

Take Good Care of Your Health

If over-the-counter medications are not helping you fight the cold, cough or flu bug that hit you over the weekend, contact the Health Center at Ph. 5441 for an appointment to see a nurse. The Health Center has two nurses on staff to assist you, Kathleen Trudnowski, RN, and Erin Kuntzweiler, RN, as well as a nurse practitioner, Denise Smigaj, who offers clinics each Tuesday.
